Singapore: GrowthPal, an AI-powered M&A intelligence platform, has raised $2.6 million in a funding round aimed at transforming deal sourcing from a relationship-driven, time-intensive process into a faster, data-led growth engine.
As inorganic growth becomes a core strategy for companies globally, GrowthPal is addressing long-standing inefficiencies in mid-market and early-stage M&A origination by enabling teams to identify off-market opportunities and move from strategy to execution within days rather than months.
GrowthPal Accelerates AI-Driven M&A Origination and Execution
M&A deal sourcing has traditionally relied on banker networks, static databases, and fragmented research workflows, limiting visibility to in-market opportunities while high-quality off-market targets remain undiscovered.

GrowthPal, co-founded by Maneesh Bhandari, Shalu Mitruka, and Amaresh Shirsat, was built to change this dynamic by applying AI-driven reasoning to deal discovery and execution.
The newly raised capital will be used to accelerate the development of GrowthPal’s AI-powered M&A copilot and expand its presence across the US and international markets.
The funding round was led by Ideaspring Capital, with participation from prominent angel investors from around the world. The investment comes at a time when corporate development teams are under increasing pressure to deliver results with leaner resources, compressed timelines, and rising competition for quality assets.
While platforms such as PitchBook, D&B, Datasite, and Tracxn have improved access to company data, they primarily focus on aggregation.
GrowthPal addresses a different challenge by enabling AI-led reasoning to determine which companies truly align with a buyer’s strategic intent, sector context, and readiness to transact.
“M&A sourcing is where most time and effort is wasted, especially for smaller and mid-market deals,” said Maneesh Bhandari, Co-founder and CEO of GrowthPal.
“Teams spend weeks researching, filtering, and chasing opportunities that never go anywhere. GrowthPal helps buyers focus on high-intent, high-fit targets and move from mandate to meaningful conversations far faster.”

GrowthPal’s AI Copilot Redefines Deal Discovery
GrowthPal functions as an intelligent M&A copilot. Buyers define specific growth objectives – such as acquiring a capability or entering a new geography – and the platform converts these goals into a structured acquisition thesis.
Its AI agents then analyse an enriched database of more than four million technology companies, using signals from public filings, web activity, hiring patterns, funding history, and other indicators. This process generates a focused list of precision-fit, often off-market targets aligned closely with the buyer’s mandate.
The platform was created to address a structural gap in the M&A ecosystem. While more than a million startups operate globally, fewer than one percent scale successfully, often due to the absence of timely exits or strategic partnerships.
At the same time, many acquirers struggle to efficiently identify suitable targets, particularly for transactions under $70 million, which typically fall below the radar of traditional investment banks. GrowthPal aims to bridge this gap by making deal sourcing proactive, discreet, and data-driven.

GrowthPal Demonstrates Early Traction Across Global Markets
To date, GrowthPal has supported over 42 completed M&A transactions and facilitated more than 210 LOI-stage conversations across North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America.
Its client base includes large and mid-market enterprises, fast-growing startups, private equity-backed firms, and corporate development teams across sectors such as IT services, SaaS, fintech, and vertical software. In one instance, a single client completed seven acquisitions within 18 months using the platform.
Commenting on the investment, Naganand Doraswamy, Managing Partner at Ideaspring Capital, said that GrowthPal is addressing one of the most under-optimised stages of the M&A lifecycle by enabling qualified deal discovery and compressing execution timelines through AI-led intelligence.
GrowthPal’s Vision for the M&A Lifecycle
Looking ahead, GrowthPal plans to extend its intelligence deeper into the transaction lifecycle, including valuation reasoning, deal structuring, and preparation for negotiations.
The company’s long-term vision is to become a system of intelligence that supports better M&A decision-making from discovery through execution, enabling teams to act with greater clarity and confidence.
